Several Bowling Green students came to perform an opera of The Billy Goats Gruff to the IC students on Wednesday, May 9th. It was a very exciting and entertaining performance in which the students learned about how to handle bullies and to use kindness when dealing with others.

COSI on Wheels came to visit IC School to teach about Astronomy! The day began with an exciting all-school assembly with lots of action. The presenter even made a cloud! Classes visited the hands-on stations throughout the rest of the day to learn even more about this topic! Thanks to our PTO for sponsoring this event and organizing the volunteers!

Immaculate Conception PTO is sponsoring a Quarter Auction on Thursday, April 12 at the Celina K of C Hall. Doors open at 5:30 and the auction begins at 6:30. Prizes will include jewelry, Longaberger Baskets, Vera Bradley, kitchen item, and many more. Shown with some of the prizes are Susie Weitzel and Judy Bruns. Proceeds will benefit Immaculate Conception School.

I.C. School February Volunteer of the Month
Immaculate Conception would like to honor Rita Snider as our volunteer of the month for February. Rita has volunteered her services in the school cafeteria for 30 years. She also serves the parish by taking communion to the nursing homes and shut-ins of the parish. She has served the parish in the past by volunteering for Bingo, serving on the Finance committee, and serving as President of the Altar Rosary.
Rita had 2 children graduate from Immaculate Conception School. She is a valuable asset to our I.C. School Community, and we thank her for her years of dedicated and wonderful service. She is a tremendous example for our children.

On Wednesday, February 1st we had an assembly with special guests to visit the kids at Immaculate Conception to talk about vocations. Our very own Sr. Nancy Wolf spoke to the kids about what it is like to be a sister of the Precious Blood. Fr. Ken Schnipke, pastor, and Brother Nick Renner, also discussed their roles in the parish and how and when they first decided to listen to their calling from God. James Smith, a seminarian, also discussed his path of schooling and what is involved to actually become a priest in the Catholic church. It was a very informative assembly and the students had very good questions for all the speakers.

DONATION TO C.A.L.L. FOOD PANTRY

Mrs. Polly Muhlenkamp, Principal of Immaculate Conception School, presents a check to Pastor Tim Clutter, Executive Director of C.A.L.L. Food Pantry. This donation came from the proceeds of a used toy bazaar held by the school in December. The used toys were donated by school families and sold. Leftover toys were donated to the Choose Life Center. Many blessings were shared by all!
