A Look at 3rd Grade!
Hello, my name is Marcia
Kaup, and this is my eighth year of teaching. I live in Coldwater with my
husband, Randy, and our three sons. I graduated from Bowling Green University. I
enjoy spending time with my family, walking, and reading.
In third grade, the students have the opportunity to grow spiritually. They attend penance services. They also participate at the weekly masses by reading and taking up offertory. In Science class they have the chance to do many hands-on experiments and projects. Each year the students go to the public library and tour an extensive rock collection. The students enjoy going to the computer lab to research information and type stories. The third graders stay busy in math learning multiplication and division. The students also enjoy going tot he Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and the Neil Armstrong Museum. Third grade is a year of social and academic growth.
