Third Grade - A Great Place To Be!

Hi! My name is Carolann Thees. Immaculate Conception has been my home away from home for many years. I attended I.C. as a student and graduated from I.C. High School. My teaching degree is from Ohio Northern University. My husband, Jack and I live west of Celina and have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with them.

I have spent most of my time in Second Grade, but moved to Third Grade this year. I am really enjoying the switch. It is fun to see how we build on what we learned last year.

Third Grade is full of interesting and fun activities that help the children to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. They have the opportunity to take part in Mass by reading and bringing up gifts. In class, they are learning about our Church and the ways they can work to continue  to spread Jesus' message of peace and love. They are working on multiplication and division, writing stories, and learning how our country has grown and changed and the people who helped along the way. They are working on Reading Counts, Accelerated Math, and enjoying working on the Computer Lab. The children will participate in the School's Spring Musical, and get  the chance to visit Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, and the Neil Armstrong Museum.

I really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the children's lives here at Immaculate Conception. We are a Family!
