A Look at 4th Grade!

Hello, my name is Susan Weitzel . I have been teaching at I.C. for many years. I graduated from I.C. High School and Wright State University. I am married to Ralph and we have three grown sons.

Fourth grade is full of challenges and growth in responsibilities. The students study each of the Ten commandments in depth, learn to live the Beatitudes, and demonstrate through their actions the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Each fourth grader learns about Ohio's rich history by participating in hands-on activities such as stenciling, baking bread, making a fossil, and making a dream catcher.

The fourth graders  participate in Reading Counts, Accelerated Math, The Christmas program, and are buddies to the four- year old preschool children.
