Parent Testimonials

"I love that all of my children look forward to going to school, not just to see their friends, but also to see their teachers and the faculty members. Often when they've had a day or two canceled or holidays off they tell me they can't wait to go back! It feels good to send my children to a place that not only parents love, but that they love as well! It feels good to send my children to a school where I know they will be safe and well cared for, and to send them to a school where they will be pushed to better themselves in their academics! Each of their academic growth is remarkable from report card to report card! It does require them putting in the time and the work, but they are generally happy to do it because they see for themselves how much they are gaining! Not only will they be pushed in their studies, but also just as importantly, they will be provided with the tools to build a deeper relationship and understanding of God. Consistently my children come home from school excited to tell me something they learned from the bible/about their faith, oftentimes it's me doing the learning too! I know that by choosing to send my children to IC that both parents and children are truly blessed.

I love the thoughtful attention each child is provided with at IC. The teachers truly care about each child, they develop a genuine connection with their students, they know their interests, their families, and how to best teach them. I know this and I see this when my children talk about their day, when they talk about their teachers and through my communication with each of their teachers as well! I know at IC my children are VALUED for who God created them to be.

I love the “family” approach that is taken internally within IC, where they involve all grade levels to interact together through “family group activities” and “buddies” in various grade levels. Family grouping teaches wonderful positive life lessons that benefit both the students of older grades and younger grades.

This may sound cheesy, but one of my favorite things about IC is the way it feels as you walk through the doors. You can really feel just how special this school is, you feel faith harbored within it, you feel love and genuine care filled within the rooms and hallways, you feel the gentle but great expectation for the development of each child. I believe that when you have a school that has faith focused at its core you have teachers who reflect that, you have students that feel that, then you have students who want to be a part of that, then you have families who recognize and value that, then faith grows not only at school but also at home and extends to daily lives and then reaches into the community. IC is not just a school… it is life shaping, it is life changing, it is life giving!

I am undeniably grateful for IC and for all of those who make IC what it is! A sincere thank you to those who deserve it and who work so hard to provide so much for all of the children that enter their doors!"

"We chose IC School because we wanted a small family-like feeling for our kids. We are not a family of Catholic faith, yet we have been welcomed with open arms.  I would encourage families of any faith to consider IC School. I personally love that every teacher knows every child, and every child knows every teacher. When I drop my daughter off every morning, I feel like I am sending her to her second family. IC provides a small faith-based, calm and safe learning environment for our kids. As a mother, that is a very peaceful feeling. Your children will be supported, loved, and accepted at IC School."

" I'm very happy with IC School and feel we made the best choice in a school for our kids!

My children are not Catholic, but we still chose to send them to IC, and we've never had any conflicts. We especially love IC for their small class sizes, excellent teachers, and extra learning experiences that really prepare them for the real world.

Experiences such as:  standing up in front of church and reading into the microphone helps them prepare for public speaking. The kids got to help by gathering leaves at the school and on All Souls Day, they raked leaves and picked up sticks at the cemetery - this teaches how to physically work hard and follow directions. They have choir practice at school, which I believe is great because many children are not otherwise given this opportunity. They get to go Christmas caroling around town, which is such a fun experience!

The older kids have pen pals at the nursing home, take turns helping in the cafeteria, and help as safety crosswalk guard after school. The older kids also get assigned younger buddies to help guide throughout the school year, and they all have family groups, which is a great experiences for kids of each grade level to bond and learn how to interact with each other.

Overall, IC School not only provides excellent curriculum and a safe, loving environment, but also provides many opportunities and experiences for the children that I believe make them well-rounded individuals."

" We are so happy with our choice of sending our children to IC. Our daughter absolutely loves school! The environment at IC is wonderful and it's so nice that kids get a chance to be kids! We also love how religion is incorporated into the education.  We love hearing what our kids learn, religion wise. It is also so awesome how they go to Mass on Friday. IC is defintely worth it!"

~~Noelle, Parent of IC Preschool and 2nd grader

"A Catholic-based education is so important to us! I love that they pray in the morning and have special celebrations for feast days. I love that they get to celebrate Mass with their friends. I love the small class sizes; the teachers are so caring and kind! I love knowing that my kids are going to school and learning the same morals and lessons we try to enforce at  home. We are so blessed that we have the option of sending our kids to IC!"

~~Shelby, Parent of IC Preschool and 1st grader~~

“I love the small town feel of IC. We go places, in or out of town, and people go out of their way to say hi to us.  It's encouraging to kids to be known that they are at IC. I love the community it's created amongst students an staff!”

~~ Parent of IC 2nd grader~~

“My daughter LOVES this school from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Immaculate Conception School integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons.

Though it is a small school, it allows for a lower student-to-teacher ratio, giving children more confidence when asking questions, engaging in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers.

Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child, their good behaviors and achievements, and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner.

Great team - great school!”

~~ Kyrsten, Parent of IC 3rd grader~~

“I love the small class size and the care they give to their students, as well as the different activities that are offered to the children.”

~~Brittany, Parent of IC Preschooler, 1st, and 3rd grader, and 2 grads~~

“Smaller classes, faith-based, not just focused on testing. Enrichment and lunch clubs. Teachers are not processing their political views and are willing to work with parents, truly caring for the children and families.”

~~Winter, Parent of IC 2nd grader, 6th grader, and 2 grads~~

“I am amazed by how great of a community IC School provides for my child. She was so nervous to start and now it's all she talks about and loves going to school. I'm glad our journey brought us to IC School, where she's not only surrounded by an amazing facility, but CHrist is involved in her education. Her father and I definitely feel blessed for her getting to be a member of the IC family.”

~~Morgan, Parent of IC Preschooler~~

“We have been so happy with our experience at IC School. It is apparent that the school hires top-notch, quality personnel, from the teachers to the cafeteria workers to the custodians, and everyone in between. All students are treated equally and with kindness, yet given personalized attention to meet each of their unique needs. Best of all, the school works hard to instill Christian values and model behaviors, and we see our daughter mimic these behaviors daily! If you're looking for a place where your child won't get lost in the shuffle and receive an excellent education, IC is it.”

~~Kyle and Abby, Parents of IC 2nd grader and preschooler~~
